Besides the lets play Pokémon videos We plan to video some battles and deck building to show you all how we use our cards outside of having  this awesome collection! In other news get ready for the websites new design, to be done entirely in html5! hopefully we can make the website even smoother and easier to navigate - the gallery too so stay tuned!

Did I just see 2 gold star pulls?

Hello everyone, it's Ryan here from Pokemon Canadians. Today we've reached the ever so sought after 1000 subscriber marker. We here at Pokemon Canadians could not be more appreciative of the amazing support throughout this journey to 1000 subscribers. I know it's looking like I'm saying we're done because we've reached our big goal, but that's not the case at all. We actually have no intentions of letting up on posting videos or discontinuing our website. We're going to be posting content as long as we possibly can, and as long as we continue to receive this amazing support from all of you amazing subscribers. Personally I love opening Pokemon booster packs on video for you guys and I'm all about the entertainment factor. I try my hardest to let no blank space go into a video of mine so that you guys are entertained. I can't stand it when people are opening booster packs and all I hear is them opening the booster pack with it crinkling ever so loud and then some good old heavy breathing while doing so. I strive not to let that happen, and I hope you all appreciate it! We have many great booster boxes left to open, such as the infamous FireRed LeafGreen Booster Box! Which I know is one of, if not THE most sought after booster box out there. I'm ecstatic to open it on camera for your guys' entertainment! It'll be a blast and I can't wait to open it and post it.

I also know that just about every channel tries to do giveaways as often as possible to help their subscribers out and I'm fully aware that we have not done a giveaway or a raffle yet. I can promise that they're to come. And I'm also more than happy to announce that we're going to be doing a massive giveaway of a Dragons Exalted Booster Box! Yes that's right, you just read that. We're all going to pitch in to bring that giveaway to you guys. There's of course going to be rules and what not and a specific goal for us to reach during the process. We'll make a video on the box giveaway once we have the box on site and have the rules written out for you all to abide by.

Thank you all yet again for helping us reach our first massive milestone of 1000 subscribers! We appreciate more than I can show through typing, and more than you all can imagine. This is just the beginning of our channel getting out there into the Pokemon community, we're in it for the long haul! Stay tuned for great content to come.

-Ryan of Pokemon Canadians

news update

Here at Pokemon Canadians, we're striving to bring you all the best of the Pokemon TCG tips and tricks for this website. We take all of our own pictures and are in the process of a 1000 booster pack opening which gives up great cards to take pictures of every day.

Within our picture gallery there are "View Now" buttons that when you click, they bring you to a review of the card that was above the view now button. Within the reviews are a summary of how the card generally works and what it can work with, as well as the best ways to obtain the card with site links.

We strongly encourage you guys to take a look at the reviews and if you feel the need to say anything about them, don't be shy to email us at pokemonryanandspenny@gmail.com or message us on YouTube. We're working hard on bringing you guys a forum to sign up for on our website and set up card and game play discussions within. Thank you very much for visiting our site. Hope you all enjoy

1000 boosters

Our plans for the summer may include opening a sick amount of Pokémon cards but that's not all, with so many new pictures to take things are taking longer than expected. Sure enough today I leave you with yet another taster. if you want the full review, you know what to do. enjoy!

King of the Jungle-gym

RayqauzaRayquaza LV. 56 is a very unique card in quite a few stunning ways. This card came from the Legends Awakened series and came out with quite the appearance with such a great Poke-Power and attack. Rayquaza’s Poke-Power is basically flip a coin until you get tails and take either a fire or electric energy and attach it to itself unless of course its affected by a special condition OR if there is another Rayquaza in play (you and your opponent (Rayquaza/Deoxys Legend Card doesn’t count)). And, yes I just double bracketed! Rayquaza LV. 56’s attack does 150 for 2 electric and 2 fire and you must discard all energy for doing so.View More

New Photos

Working hard for you!

Tonight we do our photo dump, meaning slowly but surely we will be uploading new photos, of better quality. Now unfortunately you may have a slightly slower load time on the page (especially for you mobile users). We will be testing the performance our selves but if the load time is too much please E-mail, or Message the channel and we will do our best to make better arrangements

I do believe these next two gallery pages will be our finest yet! featuring higher resolution images than before. With more pictures comes more reviews, press a view now button to go to that cards page and please don't be shy about sending us card reviews! Credit for reviews will be left to the writer.

Moving Up

That's right guys, we are moving up in the world. Thanks to our friends at Google, We now have ads. Please show interest? Or not, in other news expect Pictures and video from soon to be new Dark Explorers openings. Until then check it out!

Pre-Release

We had a pretty busy day today at Sentry Box here in Calgary. We met some new friends, but most importantly - We pulled a few new Pokemon EX's

If you know how the pre-release tournaments work you might be pleased to hear that The Pokémon Canadians playing placed fairly well - losing only to each other and then also lost in the final match. We learned some, we saw some, we now know about this nifty item called the dark patch - and now you guys will need to stay tuned for what we pulled! If your following this now you are the first to be warned that Ryan has set into motion the opening of 1 or maybe even 2 Dark EXplorers for this upcoming Wednesday.

News

Welcome!

What's coming? The images on the site are getting a serious resolution haul, which may mean more load time. So the trade off might have to be only having low res images on the front page. If that's the case I promise you guys to come up with a gallery that is not such an eye sore. On that note; I apologize for the rough look and feel the site has right now - we are fairly under construction and need some time to get this site up to par with internet protocol (What ever you want to take from that.), Although our professionalism is lacking now keep checking in for site updates and by the end of the summer (This year being 2012) we hope to have a sign up/in function and a forum so that you guys can talk about Pokémon in an intelligent (and hopefully respectable.) manner. That's it for news today! OH WAIT I LIED

What else is news? Well this whole website for starters! I don't think you guys are expecting what Pokémon Canadians are planning for the next year. Things are getting pretty serious around here, meaning what for you? We plan to include a members section of the site where you guys can discuss topics in a forum, topics such as; Game strategy, favorite Pokémon and cards, and new episodes of Pokémon Canadians

Card Reviews

"Daily" Card Reviews

Ok, so we may be a little behind on card reviews but fear not stragey searching friends! After a few delays we are excited to announce some new reviews; Blaziken,  Venusaur, and Entai EX from the new Dark Explorers expansion. Stay tuned.

That's right, daily. Even in our busy schedules of brining you guys more fan made Pokémon content Pokémon Canadians is going to put effort into adding a new card review every day. What does this mean for you? by the time we catch up to Ryan's (sizeable) collection in reviews; You will be seeing reviews of brand new cards within days of being released. It is a lot of work but you guys are NOT expecting what we have in store for Pokémon Canadians and this site. For that you will have to keep checking in on YouTube!

With the site well on its way to completion I thought I could Show some card-reviews in the making; please note that this will take a while for us to complete - the reviews you see now are temporary, like a taster of whats to come:

Here at PC we pride our self's in knowing how to play Pokémon cards! We sometimes go as far as making rule variations for double battles (2 teams of 2) and free for all battles (sometimes with up to 9 players in one battle). We battle so much that we each have developed our own favorite card and deck variations; and we like to run our big mouths a little too. What does this mean for you? Near card Images you may have noticed a "View Now" button. What happens when you click this button? You get sent to a (Near) full page card review for the card you clicked on! decks we may have featured the card in, hit and misses of the cards as well as how the card might fit into a deck

So look forawrd to card reveiws from Pokemon Canadians

Check out this View Now button.

Typhlosion

typhlosion prime

Typhlosion Prime from the series Heart Gold Soul Silver is very useful in any fire deck because he recycles energy. (discards energy as well as picks it out of the discard pile then attaches it to one of your Pokémon)

He also puts a damage counter while doing so, The good thing about the attack that discards energy is that you get to pick the energy to discard off your opponent in which case if there was a special energy (double colorless, prism, rainbow)you would without hesitation discard that one........View More
